I am a life-long Edmontonian! I was born and raised here and completed all of my schooling in the public school system. I went on and completed my Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Alberta.
I come from a large East-Indian family and I was raised to be bilingual! Just over a year ago, I had my first child. It has been fascinating watching his language and play develop over time. Fun fact: my son, twin-brother and I share the same birthday!
I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and I have over 6 years of experience.
I have a wide variety of clinical experience. I have provided services to toddlers and preschoolers, school-aged children, adolescents, and adults in community, school and private settings.
I have collaborated and consulted with a variety of professionals in interdisciplinary teams. These teams have included Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Educational Aides, Social Workers, and Teachers.
I am motivated to deliver functional and meaningful therapy that is of relevance and interest to the client and family. Our sessions will end with ideas for simple ways for caregivers to continue therapy at home in a fun and practical way.
I am incredibly honoured to be a part of your and your family’s communication journey
I was born in Regina, and lived in Saskatchewan until grade 6. My family then moved to Brooks, Alberta where I completed the rest of my schooling.
Sports and fitness were always a passion of mine. I played 3 years of collegiate volleyball at Medicine Hat College. I then went on to complete my Elementary Education Degree at the University of Alberta and followed it up with my Masters in Speech Language Pathology. I have always loved children and easily connect with them.
